Environmental Services
SABU helps organizations across the Kingdom navigate environmental requirements, manage environmental risk and build operations that hold up over time.
Who we are

SABU is a Saudi environmental consultancy based in Riyadh, licensed by the National Center for Environmental Compliance (NCEC). We help companies and government entities meet their environmental requirements.
Local understanding
We work in the regulatory, industrial and environmental reality of Saudi Arabia — not a version of it imported from elsewhere.
Technical capability
Environmental advisory, assessment and monitoring delivered by specialists who have done the work on live sites.
Trusted advice
Clear positions, documented reasoning and recommendations you can take to a board or a regulator.
Services
Six lead services for permits, renewal, studies, records, measurements and waste, plus three specialised services when the file calls for them.

For a new activity or facility that needs an environmental permit before it can operate.

For a permit that is nearing its end, or a facility whose details have changed.

For a project the regulator wants studied before it will consider approval.

For facilities that must keep environmental records and file reports through the year.

Field measurements for air quality, noise and emissions, reported for the permit or the regulator.

Help organising how a facility handles its waste, and the records the regulator expects to see.

For sites where water use or industrial effluent is part of the environmental file.

For organisations that need their environmental performance explained to a board, a lender or a regulator.

For a site where an environmental risk has to be named, and a practical response set out.
How we work

We read the activity and assemble the file the regulator will need.
We send the file to the National Center for Environmental Compliance.
We stay with the file through questions and review. A decision is the Center’s, not ours.

Industries
The obligation on a petrol station operator is not the obligation on a manufacturer or a developer. We work from the context of the operation, not a generic checklist.

Saudi identity
Industry, infrastructure, water, waste and development in the Kingdom are moving quickly, and environmental expectations are moving with them. SABU exists to help organizations stay ahead of that curve rather than react to it.
